Our story begins in a parallel universe, not so different from ours. The opinion of many is that planet Earth is a prime location for mining biomass because of its lack of intelligent lifeforms, so it is auctioned off to the highest bidder.
So begins the first but not the last encounter of the third kind. Every city is attacked, and units of unknown species start to populate the areas of least resistance. Ignorant of our ways and abilities the alien intruders set out to capture any human they encounter. Due in part to their
lack of intel mixed with a superiority complex, they luckily only send their weakest units known as tier 1 aliens. They come in big numbers but lack the skills and strength of the more competent units.
Invaders start to build base stations through our solar system and construct strange and complex structures. While the rest of us hide in shelters and our global leaders settle down in their fortified hubs, a cohort of humans who will eventually be known as catchers begin sabotaging all their efforts, and almost every incursion results in the discovery of new technologies for future use.
After a period of uncertainty and hardships, earthlings regroup and start a new age of humankind. Humans discover more about their enemies every day and eventually, details of the auctioning of our planet are uncovered. We start to look for ways to highlight our troubles and remind the interstellar forum of their obligations. This complex web of negotiations and investigations is hard but eventually, peace negotiations began to take place in the main hubs. As time goes on Earthlings are no longer happy to settle for what they have been given during the peace process and start to have new hopes and expectations.
Is it possible to encourage the members of the forum to agree on better terms for us, do we decide to look for a new inhabitable planet amongst the stars, or maybe there is a way for us to stay here and live on our own terms without the support of the Interstellar forum? So many possibilities in such dark ages.

The Season 3 is divided into individual Seasons, with each Season further divided into Chapters, which last exactly one month. However, the duration of each Season and the number of Chapters it contains are not fixed. All major updates and new features are tied to the individual Seasons to keep things organized for the users. For example, in Season 3, the long-awaited mobile application will be launched!
At the end of each Chapter, the main leaderboard is reset, and rewards for players in $CATCH tokens are distributed immediately after each Chapter ends. Regarding the aliens, they remain with you throughout the entire Season and are only removed at the start of a new Season.
In SpaceCatch Classic, there are several ways to earn $CATCH tokens through gameplay. Since Season 1, leaderboard-based rewards have been implemented. From Season 2 Chapter 2, a prize pool of 20,000 $CATCH tokens has been set for the top 100 players.
Additionally, in the coming months, the creation of a PvP arena is planned, where players will be able to wager $CATCH tokens against each other, with the winner taking it all. This reward system encourages players to continually improve, as only through skillful gameplay can they win and profit.

Each player bears the responsibility of constructing their avatar, a task that involves burning calories and engaging in physical activities. Players can also enhance their avatars' strength, skills, and abilities by acquiring (either through purchase or rental) unique NFTs. These NFTs significantly boost a player's chances of conquering specific alien adversaries.
SpaceCatch introduces a unique "move-to-earn" concept. Players use their real-life physical activities to fortify the health and resilience of their avatars. Engaging in physical activities yields boosters essential for improving and maintaining avatar strength. More active players have the option to sell their boosters to less active individuals or those focused on different Web3 aspects. Developers won't offer these boosters for direct purchase, ensuring a dynamic market price. Boosters come with durability, meaning they are consumed upon use, fostering continuous demand for them.
In their daily routine, players manage their avatar's shelter, where they check and collect Research points, Supply points, and unique dropped items. Frequent visits allow players to enhance specific aspects for future advantages. Each day, players pursue milestones for faster progress and unlocking new game areas. The "Friends" feature enables item exchange, collaborative alien invasions, defense of main hubs, and mutual combat assistance. Do physical activities and sell the trophies you get to others in the form of non-NFT or NFT boosters. Players can sell those boosters to other players, who are not willing to be so much physically active or has a different gaming strategy.
In Q3 2025, minigames will be implemented, allowing users to monetize their playing right from home, too. The mini-games will focus on training players' Avatars to defeat aliens outside.
You can build your avatar and sell it to players who don’t want to start at Level 1. Also, once you stop playing SpaceCatch, you will have an opportunity to sell your whole avatar and its items to other players.
You can buy unique NFTs and rent them to others. Unique NFTs are helping or are required for players' in-game progress, but there is no need to keep them all the time. You can buy them, use them, and lend them. Or if you don't want to invest in NFTs and have a different strategy, you can rent them for a while, use them, and then return back to the owner. The whole strategy is up to you, and it's your role to catch all aliens as effectively as possible.

When a player gains a projectile weapon, that weapon has one full magazine. The magazine has got X bullets depending on the type of weapon. If a player shoots out all bullets and wants to reload, he must go to the crafting, click on the weapon, and add a box of the bullets (containing 10 bullets).
If a player does this for the first time on the weapon, the weapon needs a second magazine too. This is the way a player can insert as many bullets as he wants to. (This mean that a player can load just one for each weapon if he has enough bullets)
After refilling all bullet bars Reloading move is just an animation and waiting time without any condition. If a player doesn't add bullets before the battle, he cannot add them meanwhile the battle - needs to be displayed how much is gun loaded

Currently, there are 2,000 Genesis NFT boxes in circulation out of a total of 10,000 that will be released over the next two years. Genesis NFTs are the most unique and non-inflationary NFTs in SpaceCatch, representing the game's most valuable items. These NFTs can be used, sold, or rented to other players. As the player base grows, these Genesis NFTs become even more exclusive due to the fixed number of 10,000. The initial 500 Genesis NFT boxes were sold out in 33 seconds.
Within the game, players will acquire various In-game NFT reward items as they complete quests and tasks. These NFTs are inflationary, with no supply limit. However, the deflationary aspect of these NFTs will be managed by a durability, resulting in the burning of the NFT after a certain number of uses.

SpaceCatch features various inflationary NFTs with different utilities and rarity levels. These NFTs have their own durability mechanisms, resulting in their burning as they are used in the game.
Given the game's dynamic difficulty, players will require stronger armor/items/sets for specific situations. To make these items more accessible, SpaceCatch will implement a lending system. Players can rent out their NFT items to others, creating a win-win scenario. Owners generate a passive income, and players can rent NFT items rather than purchasing them.
SpaceCatch introduces a unique move-to-earn concept through NFT boosters and potions. Players accumulate "calories" and "steps" through physical activity, using calories to acquire item packs and steps to craft potions. These potions and boosters are considered "skills" with levels 1-99. Levels 1-89 are non-NFT potions for personal use, while levels 90-99 are NFT potions available for a trade, offering significantly enhanced bonuses. Once any NFT potion is used, it gets burned, creating a deflationary effect that balances prices based on supply and demand.
Non-inflationary NFTs do not employ a burning mechanism. In the case of inflationary NFTs, a durability function has been implemented. The more a particular NFT is used, the faster is burned. Players have the option to pay for instant recovery or use the NFT until it burns entirely.
The next NFT sale is planned for Q3 2025. A whitelist mechanism is applied. In practice, this means that in order to mint a Genesis NFT Box, you must already own one. A 1:1 ratio is applied.
